Intermediate Obedience Class (CGC)

The Intermediate Obedience Class is a training program available to pets who have already taken a Basic Obedience Class.

Dogs who previously taken an Intermediate Obedience class but wish to improve their skills will also benefit from this class since the instructor will be customizing the program to match individual needs

The goal of this class is to enable dogs to pass the AKC Canine Good Citizenship (CGC) examination

This is a 7-week class – The last week is for CGC Test Prep, Testing, Q&A and Fun Activities

Topics Include:

Classes will be $199 in advance or $210 at the door.

(Please note the advance discount cannot be combined with other offers)

Participants will have the option of taking the AKC Canine Good Citizenship (CGC) test during the last class.  There is an additional fee if you want your dog to take the CGC test during the last class to cover our costs for the AKC materials.  There is no additional charge if you want to participate in the last class but do not want to take the test.

Please call or stop in to ask us any questions you may have.  When you register and pay for the class and we will confirm your pet’s vet records are current in our system.

To get the most out of any of our Training Classes, please download and return this Intake Form.  It will help our trainers to personalize the class to address your specific needs and goals.

Owners of pets who are new to Walkers should also download and complete both sides this New Client Form which will get your pet entered into our system.

Start Date for Next Class:

Murrysville, Wednesday, June 8, 2022

North Versailles, Thursday, June 9, 2022

Note: There are 7 sessions in each class.
If weather conditions, holidays or other events cause Walkers to cancel a week’s class, it will be added on – so that you receive all 7 sessions.
For these sessions starting in June 2022, we will not be holding classes on July 6th or 7th, but there will be 7 sessions in total.  (So you can have a long July 4th vacation!)

We ask that you provide us with updated vet records prior to the first class, so we are sure everyone is healthy and up to date.
